Winter Shadows is an original watercolor I did after a Christmas Day hike in the woods.I snapped a photo of the late afternoon shadows falling across this field and farmhouse and couldn’t wait to paint the scene once I got out of the cold. The image you see here is the result of that enthusiasm. This is painted in watercolor of Arches 100% cotton cold pressed paper. The image measures approximately 16 X 12 inches. This is framed in cherry, overall size is roughly 24X20 inches
