We are nearing completion of the renovations of our kitchen. This is a quick update. Instead of heading somewhere nice and warm this winter we have been busy redoing the kitchen, new appliances all around, new granite countertop and I have been busy rebuilding the cabinets. I refinished all of the doors and installed all new hardware and hinges. Being the cheap bugger I am, I did all of the installation of the lighting and the dishwasher and Microwave. Thanks brother Dan for the long distance help with the wiring.. I hate electrical stuff, as I am prone to getting it wrong. Shocking, I know. . . So this has been a fun project. I am now building a cherry table from a nice live edge slab with good figure and hope to have it completed before we head off to Minnesota to get the trailer. . . who ever knew that retirement would be so busy.
