Hi everyone,
I hope this note finds you all well and enjoying a bit of sunshine. It's been a while since I've shared our travels with you on my blog, and I have certainly missed writing. Life had us staying a bit closer to home these past couple of years — some house projects and a bit of recovery time kept us local. I'm happy to say we’re dusting off our travel shoes, filling the tank and hitting the road at the end of the month. Although we have stayed close to home we have had some great times. We rebuilt our cellar (basement if you don’t live in New England) so Carol and I now each have our own studios. I have continued to sketch and paint and have had a few successes and sales. My life seems to be very focused in that direction these days. Toward the end of the month we are making an extended drive westward ending up in Taos, New Mexico for a while before we turn back toward New England. I will be taking my paints and sketchbooks along and hopefully will have plenty of images to share. I may be posting a few in my store if you are interested in purchasing an original.

We sold our RV so we will be traveling by car and staying in hotels and rentals so the posts may have a different flavor but I am hoping I can say a few entertaining things and post some images that may be of interest. We will be visiting family, meeting friends along the way, going to museums and conventions and of course just plain exploring. As with all travel, we really don’t have any idea what will be happening along the way, which is what makes it interesting. So stay tuned as we start another road trip around this great country of ours.
Cheers,
Ed, Carol and Harper
